In an industry that saw and is continuing to see a lot of change so if you like being part of change it’s good experience

Cons

Pay Hours Too many no. 1 priorities. HR comes up with all sorts of time off but it doesn’t help because if you take a Friday off you have work on Saturday and Sunday to be ready for Monday. No sort of mentorship or professional development. HR throws training videos and development videos once they take a million survey on where they want to see growth

Pros

The employees who work for ABC really do care about the product and services they design and implement. Tenured employees are willing to help others learn and progress. ABC will be competitive with compensation when they are bringing on new employees. ABC has a remote work or hybrid work environment needed for many employees who are seeking positions right now. ABC provides a 4% match 401k contribution and has an Open PTO policy meaning you can take as much time off as needed as long as it's approved by management.

Cons

The company was recently purchased and since then a lot of benefits have been reduced, removed, and redesigned. These in most cases had a huge impact on tenured employees and no compensation was made for them. In some cases, they forced tenured employees out or told them to leave. ABC does not have the same compensation policy for employees who progress through the company versus a new hire. The Open PTO is nice, however, it was hard to use due to the nature of the business. Small teams, always on call or project-based initiatives going on. The company is going through a workforce transition so a lot of jobs are being outsourced. Senior management is out of touch with the employees in most areas which causes an impact on the organization as a whole.

We offer market competitive benefits and have in fact been expanding our offerings steadily including giving our employees coverage around EAP and free subscription to the Calm App in addition to standard benefits. We recognize that we can always do better and that is what we strive for.
