Pros

Pay well without degree. Team environment. Good benefits. "Wait your turn promotion process." Because of the long hours, really get to know your coworkers. People make the place. Freedom to run your crew with minimal micro management because of the 24 hour operation.

Cons

Teamsters union under the Master Freight Agreement from 1800. Outrageous rules favor union and hard to control with divided management. Zero production standards for employees, yet management is held to production requirements which makes it a challenge to say the least.
