Awful payroll, head office uk management only interested in client needs and not their own staff welfare. Poor equipment and tools. Even employed a lad from Ghana via an agency that didn’t even have rights to work in the uk.

Pros

Employee focused company who values their front line employees. There are a lot of great people working for ABM who do an outstanding job of supporting their teams, their mission, their clients, and the company values. These are the people that make ABM successful regardless of the self inflicted challenges.

Cons

The CEO has a great mission and message. His team can talk the talk...however, there is little to no action behind the messaging the farther removed leaders are from the CEO. Additionally, development for front line management is marginal. For a company of this size, who prides itself on being an employee focused company, leadership development needs a significant upgrade. Lastly, there is a significant salary disparity between the different business sectors / industry groups. Equity is a great buzzword for ABM, but equity is not equally applied across all divisions of ABM.
