Low royalty fees. Good business if you like working and serving the unbanked population. Meet lots of good people (and not so great)!

Cons

Security issues, large cash on hand, employee theft, high-risk check-cashing.....everyone wants to rip off the check cashing place.

Ace Cash Express offers benefits as well as a full-time schedule that is flexible around my life I enjoy being able to help my customers is the best thing about my job when they tell me I didn't eat and I'm able to fix whatever is wrong it brings me great joy

Cons

Not being able to move up in the chain with a would probably have to be one of the biggest cons

Pros

ACE gets a bad wrap for being in an "unethical" short-term lending industry. They are really conservative and transparent with their customers. Much more so than other lenders in their industry. Management wants to do the right thing, though sometimes reactive.

Cons

Executive management is strong, but sometimes doesn't have a pulse in what is going on at mid management levels. This tends to have them take a shotgun approach on strategy and can be inefficient at times. Lots of hours.
