Pros

- learn about the back stage of banking systems - design and develop new features for banks and switches like Visa and Mastercard - good team work - opportunities for promotion and lead roles - good benefits

Cons

- working process still needs some enhancements - work is done by enhancing a framework, no new projects - too many initiatives take place

Salaries decent for the areas.

Cons

Upper and middle management use fear of being labelled "redundant" to keep worker bees inline. If you put in less than 50 hours a week despite the 40 hour salary, management thinks you're a slacker. Honesty and integrity are not viewed as positive qualities. Don't trust anyone. It will come back to bite you.
