The training is atrocious. It’s 10 weeks full or nothing. They teach you the BASICS of payroll and you get zero training on the actual tax/amendment/agency notice questions clients ACTUALLY call about. You’re stuck not knowing how to answer questions you’re asked and it’s incredibly stressful and anxiety inducing. People quit all the time shortly after training ends. For how much knowledge is needed to do this job, the pay is a slap in the face. That’s why everyone ends up quitting because the stress is now where near worth dealing with such low pay. No WONDER they spend so much time in training trying to sell hopes and dreams and career development. They 100% know that the job itself is horribly set up and the training sets you up for failure. If training was provided I promise you employees wouldn’t quit so fast and wouldn’t be so stressed out constantly.

Some leaders and departments are great Great benefits Time off increase after 3 years Job role support

Cons

Some leaders are horrible, causing WLB to be absolutely not worth it.
