Pros
Strong work-life balance, solid pay and benefits, very smart teammates, and good managers at the team level. Lots of stability for a big public company, and some genuinely interesting problems in the acquired products. If you like structure and predictability, it’s a comfortable place to build a career.
Cons
Very slow decision-making, many layers of approvals, and a heavy process culture that makes it hard to move quickly or experiment. Tech stacks and tools can feel dated, and it’s easy to get stuck in meetings instead of building. Innovation is talked about a lot, but actual risk-taking tends to be limited.
