Columbus, Ohio DM Candidates - Understand what you're signing up for
Pros
-Well known logo with product market fit -If you have no previous sales experience, this could be a good environment because you won't have any actual sales organization to compare it to. Play the game, shut up, keep your head low, and you may actually make money.
Cons
-Cross-business unit politics take precedent over your success. You will have money taken away from you by being forced to loop in other business units for your superior's political gain. We are talking about 5 figures worth of net commissions that you will be forced to give to another business unit's rep (if you're in an HRO/PEO role, they literally may not even do any work on a deal and make more commission than you based on their target attainment being lower) -ADP in Columbus, Ohio is NOT a sales organization. It is a pyramid hierarchy scheme -Small Business Services VP (onsite) and respective SE's (onsite) create accounts in Salesforce in their market segment (well known 400+ EE companies being built and logged as 7 EE's so SBS can source them and then pivot them to upmarket, bypassing CORE (50-149 EE). - CORE/MAS/Upmarket tech sales leadership has no urgency to actually partner with other business units -HRO (Comprehensive Services and PEO/TotalSource) leadership are non-existent in the office. Leadership lives hours away. Leadership is put in place with no actual skillset. -There is no strategic sales here.
