Pros

Great place to begin a Sales career right out of college. Proper training in the form of formal sales training in Parsippany, NJ. Learning the basics of sales is great, and not every company will take the time to train you this well. Basic tools such as a car allowance, cell phone allowance, and small budget marketing expenses are all reimbursed. Once you've been in sales a few years these are obvoius things; but coming straight out of college this was a great stepping stone. Other companies will recognize ADP training on your resume.

Cons

Not a great place to stay for your Sales career. Better money to be made elsewhere, and more interesting products and services elsewhere.

Pros

ADP has some phenomenal tools to help employees improve themselves. Most people don't take advantage of everything they have to offer, but there is a lot there if you seek it out. The company is extremely good at what it does. So what does it do? It makes money. It also processes payroll and some other business information, but from my standpoint the bumber one goal was to make money. The same could be said for most businesses I guess, but few are as consistently stable as ADP. My experience was not positive because of some of the individuals that I worked with, but it's a potentially good company.

Cons

The business is not very exciting, and some of the technology is truly outdated

Pros

Good bonus if you succeed. The commission structure can allow for some decent earnings.

Cons

You lose your life outside work and everything becomes very stressful. They work you to death. You need to develop leads for the rest of the company on a regular basis. They have extremely high activity standards, and due to the weakened economy, upper level management keeps expecting that you spend even more time at work. When you go home at 6:30pm, your day is not over, even though you started work at 7:30am. They expect you to use a software program that will "help you out" just because they dumped millions of dollars into it. Annoying
