Pros

Really good place to work. A place where a large percentage of the staff stays around for 10+ years. Benefits are better than at other companies I have worked at in the past. Career advancement is good. If you are the type of person that digs into things and does not care about personal gain then you can really improve your position at ADP on a consistent basis. I have known people that becuase they have been willing to go the extra mile have moved up within the company. I am talking about a promotion every 18-24 months on average due to their hard work.

Cons

Sometimes puts the cart before the horse is the best way to describe life at ADP. They will come up with a new product and start selling it before we can even support it. Also the mentality that the sales department is more important than anyone else.

Pros

Security, support are good with this company. Kind of a no frills environment as there isn't any excitement in the workplace. Very quiet

Cons

Not a lot of support or backing. Trying to gauge direction in this company is tough because everyone is protecting themselves.

Pros

High Turnover, so realitively easy to get a job. They (at least the SLC office) burn through people at such a high rate that getting a position has been easy. As the economy slows, that may change. Their benefits are at least adequate, although, by no means steller. The people there are great, it just the corporate culture that turns decent people into life sucking, desperate people. Managment has been workable to get important times off, but if an emergency arises, all bets are off, you are expected to drop all plans and work until the situation is resolved. .

Cons

They want your life, chew you up and spit you out. 100% of managements attention is on deliverable while maintaining the bottom line. Average hours worked is 60 hours a week with some weeks going over 100. At one point they had the salaried positions doing mandatory 12 hour days. The communication between team members with different responsibilites was like hot potatoe. The person who couldn't pass the potatoe fast enough was blamed for the problem that inevitabily arose. They Winflex system which we worked on is inherintly broken, causing all sorts of stress and problems. People are low on the list of prioritys.
