Pros

The co-workers are nice, competent people. Benefits are good, Salaries, vary greatly, from good to God-awful.

Cons

Unbelievable. Really! They have absolutely NO CONCEPT of employee development. They make a big deal out of creating a project management accreditation program but then don't fund it from the corporate level. They make the regions foot the bill for this MANDATORY accreditation, then allow the regions to cancel the classes because it impacts the utilization rate. By the way, it is a 2 day class that is only offered on Friday-Saturday, so everyone who attends is expected to give up their Saturday "for the good of the company"! If you are not billable, you WILL be gone.

Pros

good benefits; large, interesting projects; good clients

Cons

hemorrhaging technical staff and account managers; reluctance to re-hire staff which stretches existing teams too thin; inability to be flexible to client needs; loss of resources means no continuity with clients; short term focus rather than long term relationships; no investment in employees; serious disconnect between upper management and staff in the trenches

Pros

Management is so top secret even they don't know what they are doing!

Cons

Everything. No direction, no vision, no collaboration. conglomerate of smaller companies with no incentive to work as a single company. Company is much more interested in competing with themselves than with competitors. Claims of ethics, management, technical competence and client focus are more absurd than the name of the company that means noting to anyone. Business buys other companies, destroys their backlog and fires the competent acquisition acquired talent.
