Working at a large corporation at the start of your career is a must in order to understand how things are done in the big world and AECOM is THE largest company in the engineering consulting industry. Great opportunities to work on huge projects (Riyadh Metro, HS2) or smaller ones for your local council.

Cons

-bureaucratic way of life, very risk averse company. -large staff pool means that individuals are not always recognised as they should be -slightly lower than average salaries (just slightly)
