Good people - Too much secrecy

Pros

Good people who know their role well. Some excellent managers who work hard to keep team informed - not supported by information above.

Cons

Redundancies not spoken of or information shared. Working with people from another office that suddenly go quiet and you don't know if they are busy, on leave or exited. Partial information sharing - restructure partially announced but no data so everyone is looking over there shoulder wondering if they are next.

Brutal....confidence sapping, depressive sinking ship.

Nice local staff that are real people trying to take care of their families.

Cons

The ship is sinking. Those loyal to stay thru all the layoffs are not rewarded, only punished with more beauracracies and cost cutting measures. They never stop. Cut after cut, year after year. One bad week of utilization are you are toast. No they don't look at say a years utilization, they look week to week. They hire worthless district managers that don't generate an ounce of work, only lay people off. There is no future for Aecom and it is starting to collapse from its own weight.
