Pros

As a company there is an enormous breadth of capability and experience. You rarely say no when a client asks "can you do ....". There are great career development opportunities. I've changed tack slightly a couple of times and always been accommodated and rewarded for hard work.

Cons

It's a big corporate, so you need to fit in with it's rhythms and culture. If you don't want to fill in a timecard, write a report or use a dashboard here and there, it might not be for you. You won't know everything that's going on. You won't be picked for every team. Cool stuff will happen that you won't be involved with. But if you have the right attitude some cool stuff will happen and you will.

Pros

Good training throughout the year, great learning opportunities through projects and multitasking, friendly and supportive colleagues and managers, competitive benefits and best of all it's a big name and is listed in Fortune 500 most admired companies of the world.

Cons

At times workloads could be stressful and salaries may not seem competitive, however with regular reviews with managers such concerns could be shared and taken care of.

Pros

Great learning experience: working on different projects in different industries is definitely helpful. There is an element of luck about which particular projects one gets staffed on. - Excellent training ground for basic skills: while consulting wont teach you a solid skill , it will make you proficient in basic skills such as BIM and calculation softwares.

Cons

Not your normal 8-5 job - can be intense at times. As with any firm, your lifestyle can vary depending on projects and client demands. You can find yourself putting in a lot of hours on some projects.
