Pros

Lots of opportunity to influence change for people who are willing to step up and take initiative and focus on the long term.

Cons

Corporate direction and leadership is very ambiguous. There is very little (if any) investment in training, developing standards, and incentive to think outside the box.

Good benefits and great people

Pros

Coworkers - working alongside some of the best in the business around the world. Benefits - AECOM offers great benefits including insurance, educational reimbursement and online training. Exciting projects in all different fields.

Cons

Large public company that is controlled by the stock price. AECOM used to be several companies under one parent company. Now they are all one and global. Because of this, they are still suffering from growing pains. Retention of good people has been difficult. There have been some layoffs but the hardest part has been convincing the good people to stay.
