Pros

Flexible schedules, ability to work from home or remotely sometimes.

Cons

Abysmal health insurance, only marginally better than what is available on the health insurance marketplace. Shocking for such a large firm.

Pros

The offices are very nice as most have been renovated for the open office feel. The people are great, lots of friendly staff who are willing to help.

Cons

The company is so big you have no involvement in the bigger, "cooler" projects. Very limited to only working on what your location and your group is doing. Don't get to work with other business lines. Very concerned with $$$$, less concerned with quality of project. Willing to take advantage of clients for the money. Lastly, after the merger, the benefits were slashed tremendously. Way higher deductibles, way less coverage. Definitely a rip off.

Pros

AECOM employs some of the best technical minds in their corresponding fields. That has allowed the employees to leverage that expertise and book some of the most sophisticated and challenging projects around. That includes private sector and government. Great career opportunities are opening given the size and scope of projects.

Cons

All internal processes within AECOM lack credibility. For example, internal surveys for employees are only performed to allow them to vent, and are not really used to fix any problems. Top management blames employees anyway, and there is no real leadership. Performance reviews are completed by supervisors and the actual decisions are made by Human Resources who are clueless but they hold the power. Real estate decisions are performed by Corporate, and they have no idea of the work AECOM employees do their work so... moving to open space space (no offices) similar to call centers. The open space change will apply to everyone. My boss is on the phone all day shouting, not looking forward to it. If there are any good reviews on this page, ignore them ... its corporate.
