      All That Matters Is the Bottom Line

      Pros

      Good overall pay. Friendly and knowledgeable people in the office. Work is interesting and changing each day. Older engineers very willing to help mentor younger engineers.

      Cons

      No sense of a "family" environment. AECOM is a huge company and it feels that way. I often joke that I don't even work for AECOM as I am in a satellite office and no AECOM upper management ever has any contact with us.

      The company employees many sharp and talented people.

      Cons

      - Culture rewards the few and most people are not recognized for their achievements - Compensation is painfully lagging competitors - Acquisitions were poorly planned and failed to produce synergies - Work/life balance was virtually non-existent
