Pros

Pizza partys and ice creams socials ( I guess I am in high school again)..

Cons

Where to start.. Let's see, they love to layoff personnel, preferably the hard workers. They will take a totally productive office and rip it apart. There is no loyalty, you so much as blink you will get laid off. They can't afford to hire a drafter yet will hire six figure safety managers. There are more vice presidents with less workers bees. By the way, the VPs can travel all they want, throwing away money left and right while not even billing an hour. How this allowed I have no clue.

Pros

I was located in Minneapolis office and there is absolutely NOTHING good about working there.

Cons

If you want to do real engineering and science, this is absolutely not the place to work. All I did was shuffling permit applications for clients. Boring, boring, and boring. But for some odd reasons, people in my group thought what they did was something very sophisticated. They were proud that they were able to do "complicated" calculations in EXCEL... Really? It's excel, if you type in numbers, it does what it does... Calculate. Duh. High school interns can do this job. People in my group were bullies. They had insecurity issues and had to belittle someone every chance they got. My boss knew but did nothing. This company do NOT care about employees. They don't consider employees as their best asset. Every time their stock goes down, they lay off people and, of course, their stock spikes up. I am very very happy that I don't work at this company. My intelligence and talent were totally wasted at this company. But if you need a paycheck, meaning ANY paycheck, this is another place on this planet to work. But if you want respect and integrity at work, I can guarantee that this is NOT for you.

Pros

Leftover legacy memorabilia and coworkers...that are still here

Cons

-if you are a young engineer with a bright mind, I can guarantee you will be exploited for profit -old-school DMJM Harris cronies built this mess of a company for one goal (to make money), not to better the world or strengthen the working class -profits are funneled to the top (aka: wall-street, acquisition debt and upper management) and that's where it stays. There is absolutely no sharing to the brilliant pee-on's that actually perform the work, attract clients, and bust butt to maintain business relationships.
