Great organization with a friendly culture. There is a lot of room for upward mobility. Management seems to really invest in their employees. Love working for a household name!

Cons

Trying to navigate some of the internal computer systems can be a bit tricky and frustrating. Typical of any company this size with a parent company so large.

i have worked for AEP Energy for a few months now and have developed my skills a lot. AEP Energy is a subsidiary of AEP but there is still a lot lf potential to develop and climb. All full-time employees can enroll in great benefits.

Cons

The job description and what the hiring managers make the job (energy sales consultant) sound like is far different from what it really is. It is purely door-to-door sales and you get a territory to knock and then help customers enroll.
