Compensation. Excellent compensation. The benefits are very good too. Safety culture is outstanding. Everyone has the "stop" authority for evolutions. Management is generally speaking, responsive and will take things into consideration. Company takes care of its people; barbecues, lunches, Christmas party. Overall, a good company

Cons

Advancement tests can be a pain. Also, just because you can pass a test, doesn't mean you deserve the spot. Ability needs to be considered. Also, they didn't tell the wind group it was up for sale until after the deal went south.

Pros

The company pays as good or better than many companies in the area and have good bonuses. Depending on the position, there is the opportunity to take new positions in different locations.

Cons

There have been ongoing layoffs and outsourcing for a few years now.They don't make people feel valued for their work. There is now talks about cutting back the bonuses which is a major part of the compensation. The company makes 5 year plans and then changes them completely 2 or 3 years in. Beware of project work because sometimes when the project is done so are you.
