Pros

AEVEX Aerospace truly cares about each individual. Not as a number or a position but the person as a whole. Being able to work for a company that truly cares about each individual, their training and upward development means so much. Recognition is a must in AEVEX, and they do an amazing job as recognizing hard work form people who deploy, to people who work in the offices. If a mistake is made, no one is quick to fire, but are very quick to help and correct. Never blame or shame. I can also tell you that Management believes in education and furthering that through their professional development program, that is used by most within AEVEX to achieve development with in their career or to further their education. AEVEX is a company that always supports their employees and their families. It is a growing company that still has that small take care of each employee feel. If I could give a higher rating on everything if possible, that is how honestly great AEVEX Aerospace is and has been to me.

Cons

There are none. I have been working for AEVEX for over 5 years as a Deployer, and as a Deployment manager. There is no better company in my opinion then AEVEX Aerospace. A company I would be ecstatic to retire with.

Pros

The men and women I deployed with.

Cons

Many. Management lives and works in an Echo Chamber. Where they tell each other how great they are, but never listen to the employees. Place is being run by immature adults. Management is dominated by "Groupthink" where they ignore employee emails and then maneuver schedules and benefits to hook up their "own." If you're not in their clique, or boy's club you're done. Through referral programs, there are some really solid guys and gals coming to the deployed teams that bring other solid guys and gals but I think the poor management is starting to kick in and destroy this trend. The word on the street is starting to get out, and soon they will lack all of the "street cred" that some worked hard to build. Management's myopic views will destroy the culture.

AEVEX Response

Thanks for your feedback. While not everyone is going to find their sought after fit with AEVEX we take seriously your concerns about management. In an effort to be more responsive to problems as they arise we have implemented 30-60-90 day phone calls from Talent Acquisition to check in on you and see how your experience has been and gain feedback. We have also implemented biannual check ins with management so that your voice can be heard. We know we aren't perfect, but we are a culture of individuals who are encouraged to fail mindfully, and correct our mistakes as we go along.

Pros

AEVEX Aerospace Flight Operations: Excellent communication/management, strong leadership, excellent work/life balance, low stress environment, a ton of employee incentives (they send you a swag box when you get hired with Nike and Under Armour shirts, Yeti water bottles, Lululemon and Patagonia sweaters, North Face jackets). This company is not cheap with their employees, keeping the profits to themselves like many competitors. They will invest 7K per year into continuing education and professional development. They have 100% paid day one medical, a 4% 401K match that vests immediately, a gym onsite and fitness reimbursement, and incredibly inexpensive prescription drug coverage. More importantly than the perks is the fact that they invest time and effort into soliciting feedback and making changes where necessary. They aren't committed to "doing things how they have always been done." The CEO, Brian Raduenz, has fully committed himself to fostering an agile and quickly growing organization. AEVEX still has that small business, family feel left over from the Merlin Global days, but now just on a much grander scale.

Cons

Nothing to complain about right now.
