Pros

AIG Ireland specifically: Most companies talk the talk at interview stage, prioritizing staff well-being, but fail to walk the walk at game time. AIG Ireland is a different case entirely - I can see why so many people end up retiring after 25+ years work. The company is a great place to work and advance your career.

Cons

The policy admin systems are poorly designed (even the new, modern systems) and unnecessarily slow down work flow.

Pros

The company is well structured, and the pay/benefits were a bonus. They set you up for success. I learned a lot working for AIG.

Cons

Taking calls from people dealing with loss can be stressful at times.
