Growing Company with a Bright Future

Pros

AIM is in the middle of transitioning from an IT staffing company to a full services consultancy. With that, there are plenty of opportunities for quick personal growth within the organization on the consulting side of the house and the ability to work on some very exciting projects and clients. AIM also utilizes a local model for consultants so each market utilizes local consultants at clients sites. This is a big break from the standard Monday-Thursday travel expectations from many consultancies. AIM’s culture is also very unique in that while there are 6 offices nationally and 600+consultants, each local office has a very family-like atmosphere where employees have personal friendships and participate in a lot of local activities, sports, and charity events together. Overall, AIM is growing significantly year-over-year and I see a bright future ahead for this company.

Cons

The Chicago office is near Rosemont so not the easiest to get to. Looking forward to AIM opening up a downtown office.

Pros

I really enjoy working at AIM. They are easy to work with and pretty much do all that's needed to get the job for you (short of interviewing for you). Everyone acts very professionally. Never had any issues with personalities. The issues I've had with any payroll problems are taken care of immediately. Overall, it's a great company to work for.

Cons

Haven't really seen much of senior management. I don't know what the five year plan is. Not even sure who the CEO is.

Pros

AIM is a fantastic company to work for. The organization, at all levels, is rooted in doing what is right and caring for their internal employees, on-client-site consultants, and all connections. Great things happen when you are passionate and excited and AIM wants that for everyone they reach: employees, consultants, and clients.

Cons

There are no cons, just possibilities and opportunities to become greater. We are still a fairly young company and continue to beat out huge competition and deliver on excellent, impactful projects. As we get bigger, we will continue to establish our expertise in technical delivery and our passion for positive customer experiences.
