Pros

Aaron and Joe really set the tone for a warm, friendly, welcoming and professional work environment. Their emanating enthusiasm can be felt regardless of which office you're working at. As a tutor, I had the freedom to structure academic tutoring sessions in ways that were most beneficial to my students. The client service and interfacing experience I gained is truly invaluable and I will carry it with me.

Cons

It was truly a great experience and I've learned a lot. Nothing negative to say.

Pros

AJ provides a collaborative and fun work environment for the bay area's brightest teaching minds! If you're passionate about education, and are looking to work with a team of professional tutors as bright as you are, you'll love it here.

Cons

Very few! As a tutor, you do need to make sure your manage your workload effectively. AJ gives you the flexibility to take on as many tutoring hours as you like--just be sure you have planned accordingly. Students often ask for extra lessons so be sure to take that into account.

My time at AJ was really great. The leadership team was extremely helpful and valuable to my success and growth at AJ Tutoring. I learned some unique skills that will help me further my career.

Cons

As a member of the leadership team, sometimes the work/life balance can be tough to manage given the fact that some of your team members may be working when you are not.
