AJM Packaging reviews

All the equipment is junk and the maintenance men are all lazy idiots. There are way to many "Bosses" or in other words to many chiefs not enough Indians. They promise you reviews and raises and they never happen. Supervisors or Dock foreman don't get overtime even though they do more then 40% psychical labor and some how they get away with breaking the law. OSHA shows up and they hurry and put all the guards on the machines. The point system is unfair and I don't think it's legal it doesn't matter if you have a doctor excuse or use personal days you still get pointed. All and all its a horrible company to work for they do nothing but lie to you and say it's so great and it's a career and it's not it's just a job. New hires make more then people that have been there for years and there is no set start rate for any position and the don't promote from within. It's the most unprofessional and poorly ran company I've ever worked for hands down!!!!!!

So, why in the last 2 and a half years key people resigned (C-Suite, Directors, Engineers, Plant Managers, HR People, etc. ALL THE TIME). The answer is simple... this place is run by the most insanely toxic leaders you will ever encounter. They hold such a tight grip that nothing gets accomplished. They are continuously telling you how much you suck. The owner leads with so much fear and intimidation that when he enters a plant, people just cringe. He is notorious for grabbing trash off the garbage and throwing it into associates' faces because he's unhappy. The COO lives to show you how smart he is and how dumb you are any chance he gets. Sometimes, they advertise on their employee requisitions that this job is not for everyone. If you have a healthy value of yourself and your abilities and are not willing to feel you don't do anything or get anything accomplished ever, or if you do not like to be condescended to and reminded how dumb you are every day or every other day, this may not be for you.
