Pros

Aldi is a great company at least from my experience. They handled the COVID shutdown relatively well and they treat their employees fairly. For an entry level job the pay isn't that bad either. Management is pretty good with keeping hours flexible for students.

Cons

This job will eventually have you cross-trained regardless of the original position being applied for. There is lots of physical labor and heavy lifting involved for hours on end.

Pros

The benefits can be good if you’re actually able to use them.

Cons

You’re made to feel guilty for using your time off that you earn and have to “make it up” by working all weekends leading up to your PTO. Company doesn’t seem to care about it’s employees other than things that would get them good PR. You’re also overworked at all times. Always understaffed. Once heard a DM say they don’t care about the staff because everyone is replaceable. The longer you work there, the less appreciated you are, specially when it comes to wage. You somehow end up making the same as a new hire. No work life balance, you have to put this job first even on your days off if you’re called in or they try to make you feel guilty.
