The company has become a joke...

Pros

The pay, some of the perks they provide. Promotion is there if you're willing to almost kill yourself to get it.

Cons

Non-existent work life balance, long days and weeks, no support from Line Managers, figure obsessed Directors that don't understand the real challenges in store and forever changing goal posts. The list goes on. Being in a region that was recently split, it was executed extremely poorly during key trading periods, leaving many Managers feeling like they could no longer do their jobs. Area managers couldn't give answers and directors that then just blamed the store managers. They also massively increased pressure on the store teams as a cost cutting exercise, stretching the staff to exhaustion.
