Great place to work for the grocery industry
Pros
Great pay compared to other retail locations, lots of opportunities to advance depending on your willingness to relocate or travel, you won't need a gym if you throw truck every day, supportive management and team at my location. Great benefits if that is what is important to you! Great work life balance as long as you are not in management. I have absolutely loved my time here, you definitely get back what you put into the job.
Cons
Definitely HARD work--you have to show up ready to go and leave your problems at the door, if you cannot do that and give it your all you will hate it. Especially for busier stores, there seems to be a discrepancy between what is expected and the time and workforce is allotted to your store to complete everything. Aldi is all about performing on peak efficiency, and it can be both physically and emotionally overwhelming at times. The higher up you move, the less work life balance you have even though that is one of their core values.
