      -Salary is on time - Cares for the employees safety - You are almost never sacked unless you commit an absolutely unpardonable offence - Teaches employees human relations and very strict in code of conduct - After working here no shortage of jobs

      Cons

      - Increments are very stingy - Too much of aloofness in staffs attitude probably due to the size of the company - Promotions are very slow _ Very demanding management

      Having various business lines, it is possible to move from one to another rather than change the company if you want (Transport, Power, Grid)

      Cons

      Since Power business taken by GE, uncertainty regarding employment until fully GE, at least that is the feeling given to me by former colleagues still in Alstom
