Pros

Alstom and its employees are an integral part of the power generation business. The work is challenging and you are able to take on as much responsibility as you can handle.

Cons

There is a bit of a colonial attitude toward the US with the focus of power and decision making clearly in Europe.

Cons

Salary is less, Too much travelling and site work required. Also compensation is very less whn compaered to IT. It takes 10yrs to become a manager.
