      Pros

      Most of the managers (mostly Europeans or non-Asian) are very nice, and not biased. They are fair and reasonable, and a lot of them are very knowledgeable and willing to teach. Of course some Asians, for example, Thai, are also very nice and knowledgeable. HR in Alstom Singapore are not really helping the employees when they have problems. Pay is not bad, but a lot of politics.

      Cons

      For a particular project: Good luck if you are working with a gang of people who like to shoe-shine the Manager. If you are not this kind of person, you will definitely be isolated. If you are Chinese, this will even be more serious. You will not get all the work information because of the reasons above. The manager will not even talk to you, even you are having high position within the team.
