Pros

A good place to gain experience and exposure with commonly used industrial machinery. Their reputation carries a lot of weight on your resume.

Cons

Timelines for project are not always clear. The overseas management can obfuscate the direction of the American management, which causes unneeded confusion.

Pros

Lots of freedom. Mangers are good to work for. The benefits are really good. Health insurance is great!

Cons

You can't plan a personal life during the week. Pay raises don't happen unless they can take it away from you somewhere else. There's very little support with major problems. They refuse to stock parts needed for repairs. We have to tell the customer face to face that they will have to wait 3 months for parts because some anonymous person sitting behind a desk in California has decided that we don't need the parts in stock.

Cons

Very low base salary. Bureaucratic management. Limited scope for growth in pay. Minimal perks.
