      Pros

      The best reason to work at AMC is the free movies, concessions, and of course the entertainment. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

      Cons

      The only down side was the fact that they started to close some theaters in areas that people enjoy movies like taylor MI

      Pros

      Free Movies, fellow employees were great and were a pleasure to work with while performing job duties. Inside look into how movie theaters work.

      Cons

      The management at the time I worked there was terrible. Was very hard to get time off. Putting up with the "guests". Especially the drunk ones.

      The coworkers are fun to work with but at the end of the day I was usually emotionally exhausted.

      Pros

      This job provides flexible hours and you can usually find someone to take your shift or someoneelse's shift to take. Also you meet a lot of people from other schools and from the surrounding area. Also free movies for you and your family or a friend.

      Cons

      Customers are rude and you are well aware that the prices are incredibly high but you still have to sell everything with a smile. Also they expect you to "up sell" during every interaction. I left before stubs cards were introduced but now I hear you have to attempt to sell those during every interaction. Also minimum wage with no extra money for working holidays, which you are expected to work at least 2 or 3 (thanksgiving, christmas eve, christmas, new years, easter morning; i've worked ALL of these actually). Christmas is the WORST day to work so if you have a choice I'd choose to have that day off whether or not you have plans. You have to work really hard to get a promotion of any kind.
