Pros

-Free Movies whenever you want with 1 guest -Very flexible hours -Made life long friends -Always a chance to move up in the company

Cons

-Minimum wage and you barely go up from there -Some Managers particularly supervisors when first promoted go on per trips -Guests you deal with are almost always irritable and always complain about the pricing -Very Strict on policies and very by the book (at least my GM was) -Selling the AMC Stubs program is nearly impossible and a pain in the ass to sell to moderately competent people and if you don't sell enough or don't ask if people want to sign up, management will write you up and on the second time you fail you will be terminated (my theater you needed at least 3 per shift on the weekends and 1 on weekdays)

Pros

Best reason to work at AMC is that its relatively easy to get hired as long as you can show you aren't completely anti social. After training and maybe 1 week of working the job becomes very easy but extremely repetitive. I'd recommend this job to high school kids trying to gain experience and college kids as a part time/summer job

Cons

Management can be pretty annoying but you cant really blame them. Trying to manage a bunch of 18-25 year olds getting paid minimum wage cant be that fun and id probably become a little jaded too. Getting promoted to supervisor is a miniscule raise for more responsibility.

Pros

The best thing about working for amc is you will almost always have a job. Also free movies arn't bad if you even get the chance

Cons

You never really have the time off to use the free movie benefit you even started working there for in the first place
