      Pros

      Friendly co-workers, interesting problems, usually feels like there is hope of surpassing intel with each project.

      Cons

      Stack ranking is a horrible review system, the stories I have read about Microsoft stack ranking sound very similar to my experience at AMD.

      Pros

      Lots of very smart, technically-capable people who are willing to teach should you choose to learn. Team synergy is great.

      Cons

      Some deep-rooted management problems, company always seems to be cutting back, and company morale is not very high. Sometimes actual work is stagnant; too many co-ops, not enough meaningful work to be done.
