Pros

Hands down best training program for an underwriting department I've seen. Benefits are competitive for the area Tenured senior management staff - all who started at entry level positions Your career advancement is limited only by you-there are plenty of opportunities within the organization

Cons

Starting pay low for the area but this company offers training and professional growth opportunities

Pros

Upper management knew who I was and called me by my name. Management created a home office position for me when I became a widower with children at home. For twenty-three years I was treated with respect and my opinion mattered. I was paid a decent salary for the job I had. Benefits were exceptional. There was a family atmosphere among the employees and management. Amerisafe sponsored several company wide events each year that would boost morale. The home office was a block from my home. Small town America.

Cons

I realize there are pros and cons at all companies, but for me there were no cons. I cannot speak to something I did not experience. The company was there for me for twenty-three years.
