interesting technology, not new, but interesting

Cons

employees guarantee the flow of money to the main corporation by making themselves available for as many furloughs as it takes to keep that cash flowing upward, in a constant, uninterrupted stream of victory.

-Very interesting work -Encouraged to learn the concepts behind the product -Get more hands-on experience than at a big company (I previously worked at a large Connecticut-based government contractor and left due to having little-to-no hands-on experience) -Pay is actually pretty solid compared to other engineering companies -Very good people to work with -Work-life balance is very good

Cons

-Needs more helping hands -Company was bought out by AMETEK in relative recent years, so profit is a big focus (as with any big corporation)

Laid back environment. I enjoyed working with really everybody.

Cons

No growth. Small headcount and departments mean you can work for the same person doing the same thing for many years without promotion. Single person can backstab you easily. Low pay. No bonuses. Office is falling part. Lot is falling apart.
