      Pros

      The Corporate office of Ametek is a good place to work. The culture is laid back, but respectful. Aggressive personalities, (in the the negative sense), don't seem to last very long. In general, people are kind and helpful. Employees are expected to perform at a high standard, but they are recognized for their effort. The company has a strong management team and the organization has the strength, longevity, and resilience to perform well in the financial market. The company has been around since 1930 and has continued to grow, so they must be doing something right.

      Benefits are competitive, but time off benefits could be a little more generous.
