Management is always looking to improve and "be better" for their customers & employees. The company culture allows for you to be your own person, share your point of view and be heard when you have a different opinion. They are fully supportive to training and helping with tuition for courses that are applicable for your long term career growth (certifications, MBA). Your personal and professional growth is important to them and management does make you feel like they are investing in you.

Cons

We are little lean in middle management positions and people are running multiple projects/tasks and might not be as effective as we could be. It is a relatively flat organization which can make it difficult to envision upward mobility.

Upward mobility for top performers. Decentralized structure offers feeling of small/medium business with benefits of a large corporation. Clear, consistent business model with proven track record for success.

Cons

Tough to fully disconnect during non-work times, however, work-life balance is still above average.

AMETEK employees are motivated to be successful at all levels of the organization and it is important to have FUN while we are doing so. The Success drives opportunities and whatever you want to become is achievable at AMETEK
