Ametek consists of around 50 different business units, each operating on their own projects. 1. Job security is zero. Anytime you can be thrown out. Choose carefully the Business unit in which you are placed before joining. If slight doubt is there, do not join. 2. People in my BU were worst to interact with. They do not give support in term of giving inputs at right time, but timeline ia strictly maintained. 3. BU people do not consider us as one team and hence working is torture with them. 3.Work is done on old technologies 4. If BU is not doing well then hike will be in lower range of single digit. This is the case in most BU's 5. No interaction with people qorking in different BU. 6. Canteen food is available at subsidised rate but quality is bad

The working atmosphere is oppressive and bullying. There is no effort made by the management to encourage team spirit and no progression paths. The offices and equipment are out of date, and no support is given when anyone tries to overcome these problems and improve things.
