      Decent job with diverse technical opportunities, but also far too many MISSED opportunities.

      Pros

      Global corp, well managed financially, plenty of technical challenges, mfg in low cost countries steadily improving quality and performance.

      Cons

      Divisions do not interact at all. No sharing of resources. In my division, very poor sharing of info and selfish behavior doomed many projects. Bad projects were never definitively stopped.

      Pros

      * Family feeling * Work with senior mgmt Its hard to make the 20 word minimum here. If you are an executive you'll probably be happier here.

      Cons

      * Risk advserse * Lacks flexibility * Doesn't distinguish between performers * Little room for career growth unless you move * Low pay * Only executives are bonus eligible * Only value executives. Non executives are not valued on a whole.

      Pros

      It used to be a very good place to work for. The management was in-house and has visibility of who does what and how well. Currently, with management located off-site, that visibilit is gone. The only concern is how to make more money at all cost.

      Cons

      No long term vision. Every year there is a new 5-year plan. What was demonized last year is embraced this year and vice-versa.
