Pros

Ametek values their employees, has a good 401K, vacation, and office environment. They tried very hard to furlough instead of lay people off in the pandemic.

Cons

No bonuses, raises aren’t good, no profit sharing, project cycle is often sloppy and disorganized. Little structure and lots of fires to put out.

Cons

Company grows thru acquiring good companies , and then sending the manufacturing to Mexico for lower wages, and divesting of the real estate.

Company offered pizza parties. ok pay for engineering (you can make more doing literally anything else)

Cons

-low pay (below average) - Low off days (less than industry standard) - bad work culture company tried to turn engineers into sales reps without comission offering pizza parties for compensation for sales
