      Pros

      AMETEK has a proven business model that has consistently resulted in revenue growth and margin improvement. The company invests in training and mentoring for its employees, resulting in team members who feel valued as important contributors to the company's success. The company also has well established operational processes that help teams be successful. The work culture is one of hard work, accountability, and respect for others.

      Cons

      No downsides from my perspective but any new employee joining AMETEK needs to be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to stretch themselves to meet objectives. It's a great place to learn and grow as an individual.

      Pros

      The de-centralized structure of AMETEK makes it feel like working for a smaller business versus the huge entity that it really is. They are competitive in pay and within the different markets their products are in. The people are generally happy to work here.

      Cons

      I feel like AMETEK's sustainability efforts could be better and while they have the AMETEK Foundation, they could also have a bigger impact with their corporate social responsibility efforts.
