Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. We certainly are pleased to read that you appreciate how much AMLI cares about our employees. We did want to take this opportunity to outline various steps AMLI took to address the pandemic. AMLI closed our properties to the public on March 14. For months, we conducted only emergency work orders and had doors locked to the public. We modified and re-opened operations very slowly and deliberately, often more conservatively than state and city guidelines. We conducted virtual and then self-guided tours for many months and were thoughtful about how and when we opened up our offices and amenity areas for our residents. AMLI has been very transparent; communicating to all residents and employees if/when an employee or resident reported testing positive.
You mention that we have strict protocol – yes, we have been very strict with our COVID protocol to do our best to keep employees and residents safe. The document you signed was to ensure employees know they are responsible to wear masks, social distance and to be responsible inside and outside of work. During the Pandemic AMLI added the following benefits for our on-site employees:
20 Emergency COVID days to be available as needed
5 “Thank You” Days to be available through 2021
Care.com premium memberships and 5 days of Back up care
Assistance with COVID-19 Hospitalization Costs (up to $4,000)
Increased the office renewal bonus and added a $500/person monthly office incentive
Customer Service Bonuses for Maintenance employees – we paid a cash bonus in June to our maintenance employees for their extra efforts and continued customer service. We also increased the Maintenance bonus pool.
