      Pros

      AMLI has truly been the best company I have worked for within the multi family housing industry. They have an excellent company culture and truly care about their employee's well being while still maintaining a high expectation. You do not have to worry about a lack of resources... They always do the right thing and truly want to upkeep the assets. The pay is great with a fair bonus potential. And best of all, the upper management team is approachable, very knowledgable, and they truly care about the onsite teams.

      Cons

      The marketing department could use a little help (seem short staffed) but there truly aren't any cons! They are always making changes for the better!

      Underpaid, Majority of time is customer service and you sell in-between.

      Pros

      They have quarterly award gatherings, which enable each contributing employee to see where AMLI stands as part of a whole for that region. In leasing you usually have ongoing training/development meetings at the corporate office which can be very fun and interactive. These training meetings usually refresh you on some of the original sales approaches that yield the best results.

      Cons

      Much of the management unfortunately participates in too many office politics, which disengage the employees that are at the front lines of the business. There isn't enough flexibility for utilizing your PTO or vacation, as you must give at least a month's request. Your commissions are effected by whether your prospective resident finds you through a locating service.

We schedule our calendars a month in advance in order to cover for vacations, personal time, off-site training and activities. Most employees appreciate the time to plan ahead for daycare and for AMLI to provide coverage for a 7 day a week operation. Most of our onsite managers are hands on, helping the teams. I hope you had an opportunity to provide more details on your suggestions for improvement, as part of your exit interview.
