      Going downhill… fast

      Pros

      AMN has been around so long, they have access to some really great contacts at tons of facilities. AMN has some strong leaders, but also some horrible ones so just make sure you are interviewing your future manager as well.

      Cons

      Overall AMN is very reactive and not innovative as they claim to be. There’s definitely a hierarchy, people with certain titles don’t feel the need to respond to others without a similar title. They really appreciate you when you’re doing great but when you’re struggling, they will not be there to pick you up.

      A good pit stop if needed, not good for long term growth

      Pros

      AMN has really great dei initiatives and a nice office location with good onsite amenities. Leadership overall shows they care and make reasonable decisions.

      Cons

      Work culture is dead. Do not expect to like or even be friends with your coworkers. Return to office mandate is also ridiculous as they have admitted it is mostly an optics issue and not performance driven. Layoff after layoff does not instill confidence in employees. In fact it makes us want to run full speed opposite direction. Lack of maternity leave for an organization this large with many women leaders, is laughable. There’s not plan for transitioning back, no coverage, and no consideration for mothers especially now with return to office mandate.
