Large amount of layoffs

Anonymous employee

Business Outlook

Pros

Remote work with a decent salary

Cons

Lay-offs were massive with about 200 people being let go around the holidays and with little opportunity to truly network if you were not located near an office. Trying to move into a new department was nearly impossible even having been dedicated to the company for a number of years and after earning a VIP award. It didn't feel as though being a upholding the company's values as an employee were reciprocated by upper management Company meetings were only valuable for certain departments so they would be a waste of time.

Dysfunctional and Depressing

Business Outlook

Pros

-good middle management and directors. - good benefits (pto, work from home) - corporate environment

Cons

-carry grace (says some terribly deft things ie. “I’m the most impacted individual at AMN” immediately after laying off huge swaths of people.) - low moral (market conditions mean people are making less) -low pay (while not AMN’s fault market demand is down means less money for everyone)
