Pros

Amazing place and people to work for! Always has something fun happening, drawings for prizes but most importantly there is a lot of positive support and resources to do the job.

Cons

Takes a while to build up & make money--until then you are making about only $100 more a month than unemployment. In San Diego that is hard to do unless you have a partner or another income. My drive my Mission Valley to Del Mar was an hour each way, but if you a fine with that it truly is a nice place to work.

Pros

Extremely well established company, ranked #1 among competitors, very good company to say you work for. Non-micro mgmt., lots of freedom to do your job & build report with staff & other dept.'s, convenient access of amenities (cafe, gym), ability to control most of your schedule, good amt of 1:1's to discuss issues with your Supervisor.

Cons

Very "clicky," Mgr.'s could be more enthusiastic, they expect their staff to be enthusiastic, but they're not. Mgr.'s & leaders are selective on who they say, "Hello" to or who they mingle with. Once a complaint is addressed by you, Mgr.'s keep limited interaction with you. They just go through the motions of acknowledging your concern. Senior leadership tend to take a lot of vacations or leave for the day for personal reasons; however, it's frowned upon if you take a vacation as often as they do or have an emergency. Word spreads fast & it's hard to trust your own Supervisors or Mgr.'s. They will even gossip about their own employees. Pay is extremely low & not competitive, location is within the highest cost of living areas in San Diego, which makes it hard to commute to, leadership does not give enough praise or acknowledgement for your achievements or success; when they do, it's selective, lots of staff are always on their phones or at each other's cubicle talking rather than being productive, very minimal pay raises, you cannot afford the cost of living in San Diego with the pay.
