      Pros

      At this point I was not able to travel due to lack of recent acute care experience. Amn was able to place me on assignment.

      I have been doing some research and I am disappointed in my pay package

      Pros

      I had very specific goals for my travel nursing contracts: specific areas, specific hospitals, specific specialties. I don't know if it was nursing being in such high demand, or AMN working to find something for me, or luck, but I was always able to find almost exactly what I was looking for.

      Cons

      Recruiters can be very pushy, wanted me to take the first job I was offered instead of waiting for one that fit my desires (and which I found and accepted only a few days later).
