      Pros

      That I don't work there anymore. There's a 20 word minimum, so um Starbucks?

      Cons

      Give you a database of nurses who other recruiters don't want to work with anymore/nurses that are retired. Horrible management, not genuine at all. Managers who don't deserve to be in the role they are in.

      Pros

      Great people work at AMN Healthcare, hard-working, competitive, professional. Senior leaders are very good, very personable. CEO looks you in the eye and says hello, comes across as passionate and sincere. State of the art facilities, excellent onsite cafe and gym. Getting even better at community service. When looking at total compensation, AMN is competitive. Not the highest, but competitive. The reviews about “low-pay” are shortsighted and unfair and don’t take all aspects of compensation into perspective. All in all, AMN has a lot to offer, which is why they have so many employees return after leaving.

      Cons

      In their zeal to continue evolving the business, increasing share price, and innovating technology, AMN seems now to focus too much on "change." What originally drew great people to AMN was the idea they were a small company that cherished their core values of trust and respect. Leaders were servant leaders, caring more about developing people than making a name for themselves. Employees respected this. AMN now seems to seek leaders heavy on flamboyance and flash, but light on character and class.

      They are a large company so everyone has heard of them (albeit usually bad reviews )

      Cons

      I caught my recruiter telling me things that were untrue. They do not pay as much as other agencies. They do not have great benefits, bonuses or salaries. recruiter telling me things that were untrue. They do not have great benefits, bonuses or salaries. It was a terrible experience and I would never let a friend work there. Today there are just too many travel nurse agencies.
